Fishing at Nebraska's Sandhill Double R Ranch

If you love to catch ‘em and fry em, you’ll appreciate the fishing at Sandhill Double R Ranch. Our private, on-site, spring-fed lakes offer the fisherman mostly Yellow Perch and Northern Pike. These lakes are fresh spring water, clear, and unpolluted, so the fish are great eating. As you can see in the photos, we’ve taken some beauties.
In the winter the ice fishermen come from all around to try their luck. They seem to enjoy the crisp, frigid air and the camaraderie of their fellow suffering fisherman.
If the challenge of our private spring-fed lakes isn’t enough, additional fishing, hunting, and boating can be found within a 25 mile radius at the State Refuge lakes and Merritt Reservoir.
