Wow! What a fun place! Peaceful getaway... been coming here for years... Clean, comfy cabin and great place to take in some fishing, wide open spaces and starry skies!
We had a great time there. Our cabin was remote so that we were able to enjoy the solitude of the open range. The accommodations were clean and comfortable.
...the place where I go in my head whenever I need to find that special place for peace of mind... unsurpassed for that special place that I want to revisit every summer.
Relaxation or adventure - you'll find it in the beautiful Sandhills of Nebraska with its rolling sand dunes, lush fields of open prairie, and spring-fed lakes.
Hike the hills searching for wild flowers and wildlife. Take advantage of beautiful photo opportunities. Enjoy our stargazers paradise with dark night skies and no light pollution.
Hiking, kayaking, ranching, golfing... you'll find it all at or around the Double R Guest Ranch, where the cattle outnumber the people!Things to Do
The Double R Guest Ranch was established in 1908 by Dr. R.G. Roth as a cattle ranch and place to practice medicine.
Dr. Roth actually traveled the area on horseback to provide medical services before he brought the first automobile.
The ranch has remained in the Roth family for over 100 consecutive years, with Jim and Pat (R.G. Roth's granddaughter) Bridges the current resident owners.More About Us
